Prepare to be amazed by Cardiff’s breathtaking skyline as you climb to the summit of the Principality Stadium high above the city.

Traverse the roof’s edge whilst taking-in a bird’s eye view of the pitch and the 75,000-seater stadium below before scaling the Stadium’s mast and whooshing through the air on the zip wire across the canopy – not for the faint-hearted! Finally descend back to earth via the drop for the complete adrenaline package!

There are some inherent risks associated with all adventurous activities. At Wire & Sky we identify and manage these risks very carefully to ensure your safety at all times. We use:

Dedicated, experienced outdoor instructors to instruct you on all aspects of safety.
Equipment that is regularly inspected and maintained.
Abseil instructors who are highly experienced.
A triplicate safety system.

Scale participants must:

Be over 10 years of age (parental consent required if under 18).
Be over 1.25 metres in height.
Be less than 21 stone (130kg) in weight.
Be able to wear a harness which has a maximum width waist of 130 cm and a maximum upper thigh width of 75cm.
Not be suffering from any medical condition that may put your health & safety, or that of others, at risk.
Not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Not be pregnant.
Sign a declaration before participation.

Helmet Wearing – The Construction (Head Protection) Regulations 1989 require suitable head protection, normally safety helmets, to be provided and worn when there is a risk of injury. Safety is paramount at Wire & Sky and a helmet is key PPE that a customer must wear whilst undertaking the Zip and Drop activity. If no suitable helmet can be found to fit on the head of the customer, they will, unfortunately, have to be turned away. With the exemption of any follower of the Sikh religion while he is wearing a turban under the the Road Traffic Act 1988 – Wearing of protective headgear.
