COVID 19 - Wire & Sky


After much disruption over the past 18 months, we are delighted that all our adventures are now back in operation!

All available dates for The London Abseil can be viewed and booked online here. Dates for the BA i360 iDrop and can be booked here. We are also continuing to offer gift vouchers for both venues – these hold validity for 12 months and these can be booked here.

Up at the O2 and The Dare Skywalk are also open again and you can book for either of these venues by following the links on the respective adventure pages on our website.

The following information provides an overview of the measures we have had in place to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Whilst most legal restrictions and social distancing guidelines were lifted on Monday 19th  July, we are still implementing some of our additional safety procedures.



Having been affected by closures as a result of the ‘lockdown’ periods, all our staff have been through additional training prior to our reopening, and they are fully versed in the additional measures in place at both venues which are there to ensure the safety of both visitors and staff.

Venue specific information can be found on the relevant adventure page – the following additional measures are in place across all venues, along with any additional measures that may be required by government guidance (please note that these measures are subject to amendments where government advice may be updated):

  • Staff advised to wear face coverings where possible
  • Staff will be asked to stay at home if displaying new symptoms and get a PCR test as per current Government guidance
  • Customers are asked to stay at home if displaying new symptoms and get are advised to get a PCR test as per current Government guidance
  • Customers will be advised to clean/sanitise their hands before touching any equipment
  • Customers are advised to wear a face covering in all indoor areas, except where a medical exception is applicable
  • Customers may wear a face covering in outdoor spaces if preferred, providing there is no risk of entanglement with equipment, however this is not compulsory

We are continuing to honour all bookings that were affected by a postponement due to our closure as a result of the national lockdown. All customers who were affected by a postponement have been sent information about how to rebook their experience. If you have not received this information please get in touch and we will resend this to you.

Anyone who has an outstanding Wire and Sky voucher which was affected by our closure as a result of the national lockdown, is advised to contact us as we are offering extensions for qualifying purchases. If you have a third party voucher (e.g. Virgin Experience Days, Buy-a-Gift etc.) please contact the voucher company directly for any queries relating to your voucher. We are not able to extend vouchers purchased through third parties, however please contact us if you would like to book using your voucher or if you have any questions regarding the experience itself and we’d be happy to help.
